50th Anniversary of the Coronation 1953-2003

The crowning of Queen Elizabeth II on
2 June 1953 triggered the first huge marketing of B/W Television Sets across the UK. Any household fortunate enough to own a set, was crammed to capacity with friends and neighbours to watch this historic event.
