'After the Fire' at Digital Headquarters
6 March 1990. Flames spread so rapidly in a strong wind that the roof and first floor were soon destroyed. It took 100 firemen, with 15 engines, to bring the blaze under control. The firm was praised for the efficient evacuation of the 490 staff within 3½ minutes
